Who's the next Rock Star?
Well, my prediction at this point for the next lead singer of Inxs and overall winner of Rock Star : Inxs is... MIG. There are still seven contenders. We'll see if my prediction is correct. While Jordis is probably my favorite overall, Mig continues to step it up and seems like the best fit overall. It doesn't hurt that he's a fellow Ausi either. JD, a one time probable for me, appears to think this is more of a game than a career. His personality kinda sucks, but he does lend himself well to the stage and microphone. I feel JD's popularity is waning when he opens his mouth off-stage. He just doesn't appear to get it.

Dude, did you cry for your girl Jordis last night? Man oh man did she murder that song! I felt so bad for her! I give her credit for continuing on - I would been so humiliated & would have run off of the stage in tears!
MIG is the winner in my eyes, too -he's a true rock star with TONS of talent, and he just "fits" - but for now, let's hope the public gives Jordis some sympathy votes, because while she had the absolute worst performance of the entire series, she was awesome all the other times, and there are people still in the running (read: Deanna, Ty) who have not done well, in my opinion, on MORE than just one occasion.....
If I would have watched the show last night, I would have sent in a bunch of text votes for Jordis.....

They didn't even post Jordis' performance video!! They have everyone's there but hers! Actually, I was *wondering* if they would leave it off, in order to not humiliate her. Who knows, maybe they even left it off at her request. Poor girl!
Ugh. I'm all caught up now. We just got done watching the last 2 eps.
Jordis did bomb and quite honestly deserved the be in the bottom 3. They made a good call, as I never really cared all that much for Deanna's voice.
Marty, another one I like as you know, did a great job. I only see them picking him if they (the band) want to take themselves to a new level. Otherwise, in the end, he's screwed.
I agree about Marty. I really like him, but as I said (to myself) yesterday, if this were "Rock Star: Nirvana", he'd be a shoe-in. Based on what INXS said to him yesterday, if he's ever in the bottom 3, he's gonna be screwed..... :(
MIG, on the other hand, can do no wrong.....but then again, that's also what they said about Jordis.....can you BELIEVE what happened to her voice with that song? From the get-go it was a train wreck!
I was gonna post something about the elimination show, but you probably haven't watched it yet, right? Man, if there is one show you gotta stay up-to-date on, this is it - it KILLS me when I can't come & chat about it - LOL!
I'm caught up. We watched both eps the other night. (Actually I mentioned it in the comments above). :)
