Why I Don't Mind Buying Stuff Online

People are worried about credit card information getting stolen online. Honestly it's way more insure just handing your card to someone who you don't even know. Anyone could easily just write down the info they need and give you your card back.

Check out THIS news story where waiters and waitresses in New York took credit card info from customers and rung up over $3 million in credit card fraud.

Generally speaking it's very safe to buy online. Especially from the big guys like Amazon and so forth. Don't be afraid.

Let's Play Ball!

Both Cade and Cale started baseball this year. Cade's in Pee Wee with a pitching machine playing for American Electronics. He did great swinging the bat and catching behind the plate.

Cale has been eager to play for quite some time. Now that he's 4 he finally gets the opportunity to break into the big league. Yeah, that's right, he's playing T-Ball for the County. He's started off strong behind the plate. Unfortunately many of his games are going to conflict with Cade's. Since I am one of the assistant coaches for Cade's team it's going to be a bit of a problem. I'm going to have to miss a few of Cade's games to assure I see Cale as well. Cale is playing for The Rockies.

Check out more pictures at Flickr. Check out a video of Cale hitting over at YouTube.

Optical Illusion

I found this on Digg. Look at the image. Step back 6 or 7 steps and look at the picture again. Notice the faces switch sides when you step back. Wild, huh?

Cade recently received his purple belt. Here is his kata, which is done with a bow.

Click HERE to see a video of him sparring. He's the one wearing the black headgear.

Tackling Billy Goat

Last Saturday Ken and I hit Billy Goat Trail in Great Falls Maryland. There are three sections to the Trail. A, B, and C. We hiked A, which is the most difficult of the three.

The weather could not have been more perfect. The scenery was beautiful. It was hard to believe that this wasn't too far from Ken's back yard.

We chose a couple different directions off the main path to make things more exciting. The vertical climbing was a blast!

After we finished the hike we decided to attempt to find a nearby virtual geocache. Geocaching is something that Ken has also gotten our family into. Think of it as treasure hunting with a GPS. Anyway, after Ken and I found the cache we headed to Baily's, a local bar, where we met up with May and Heather (friends & more) to watch a little basketball.

It was a great day. I had a blast and I look forward to doing another hike with him soon.

There are many pictures from hike over at Flickr. Check them out!

All Cade Wants For Easter...

Is his two front teeth.

He's now lost teeth 5 and 6. Right now his mouth is a mess. There will be another photo on Flickr with the 6th tooth missing.

Illin'

I've got a few updates but I've been really sick for a week now. I'm finally starting to feel better. I'll touch base soon.
